Article: What We're Watching

What We're Watching

With the pandemic we’ve been watching a bit more tv than normal. But overwhelm is real (just like the Netflix scroll) and with SO many shows to watch, we just sometimes want some suggestions. Here’s a little peek at what our team has been watching if you need a little something to add to your binge list.

Good Omens

Based on Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s novel, Good Omens follows frenemies Aziraphale and Crowley, literal angel and demon. Their task is to prevent the apocalypse.

The Duchess

Not to be confused with a period drama, The Duchess is about Katherine, a single mother who is on a quest to conceive a sibling for her daughter Olive.

The End of the F***ing World

For fans of true crime podcasts who want to see the action visually, this show is it.  It follows two troubled teens, James and Alyssa,  who get tangled up in murder and are on the run.

I May Destroy You

The 12-episode show is an autobiographical look into creator Michaela Coel’s experience with sexual assault. It’s empowering to follow Arabella as she rebuilds her life after being raped.

The Lovebirds

For romcom fans, The Love Birds provides a fun and serious look into a relationship. The “Lovebirds” are Jibran and Leilani, a couple who goes on the run after witnessing a murder.

The Wilds

For fans of survivorship dramas, The Wilds scratches the itch. A group of teenage girls are on their way to an empowerment retreat when their plane crashes on a deserted island.
